TechnoArt Vistara
TechnoArt Vistara
(Vistara in Vistaar)
By: Utkarsh
Hello
everyone, today I will be especially discussing and presenting my views about
the Tata Vistara airlines presented in the ‘The Tata Saga’ in annual art
exhibition in the school by the joint venture of the class X students, class IX
and class VIII students under the guidance of the two great teachers, Mr.
Devesh sir and Mr. Sarman sir in the field of their interest in Mathematics and
Computer – Science respectively.
I actually
don’t know much about Vistara in detail but can explain you those things, which
were explained to me in the exhibition today (1st day of exhibition)
by the students explaining there. Vistara as you might know is a part of Tata
SIA Airlines Limited. It is a joint venture between Tata Sons and Singapore
International Airlines Limited. It was the pioneering airline which has introduced
premium economy seats in domestic flights in India. If you want to know more
about it, you can make a visit to ‘Tata.com’ as well, or other related websites
and pages on the internet. J
So, what came
in your mind or brain, when you first saw the title of this article? Answer in
the comment section or you can convey this orally to me. Now, you might had
understood, what is the Vistara airlines, or might had drawn a rough idea in
your mind or brain, that’s good.
TechnoArt
is the combination of two words, ‘Technology’ and ‘Art’. It is a special title
or can say caption given to me for the room, which was presenting Vistara in
detail. This
Many of you
might know that Vistara is also involved in making an AI based robot for
directing and guiding passengers in the airport terminal. So, remembering this
particular robot, named as “RADA”, the joint effort of teachers and students
involved in presentation of Vistara had also presented a prototype of RADA in
the exhibition which is interactive as well, but with the help of another
resources present in the room, specially when you have to make the conversation
with the kids using e-speak.
The
prototype of RADA used in the exhibition is the one of the most entertaining
and interactive bot for the juniors and pre-primary children as they feel to
talk with it, like a friend. Even, if I exclude the children, many IT
interested people had shown their interest in understanding more about it in a
short detail, which I really enjoyed explaining them.
According to me, this prototype was
really doing the original work as for what the RADA is made for, that is
guiding and interacting it’s passengers.
If you had
visited in that particular room, you would have felt the real feeling of an
airport and the terminal inside. One of the most interesting sound, that you
might listen frequently while passing through airport is the ‘beep’ of metal
detector which was clearly audible in the room while entering as well. This
detector is made using radar and other controllers which were running as per the
programming coded by the students and their mentors.
There was a
map of India indicating the air-routes, specially of Vistara flights. All the
main cities where this flight visits frequently, on a regular basis was shown
with the help of red
leds which was again connected to a small microcontroller
and with the help of wireless technology, was controlled by a smart android
device present in the room.
In the
center of the whole giant 3 dimensional sky involving huge marshmallow clouds,
full of Vistara flights, taking off and landing down, ranging from airbus a320,
a320neo and VT-TTB, there’s the 3D model of a perfect aerodynamic aeroplane,
which I think had just took off in the air. The theme designers has put their
thoughts in such a way that it is made the best example of “TechnoArt” with the
‘technology’ embedded on the runway and in other bots as well and ‘art’ in it’s
surrounding and the plane itself.
Like there
is a rock band in concerts in the field of music, in the same way, all the
students with the joint venture of three different classes and their mentors
had made them to rock in the exhibition. I am glad that they had not only
explained their work very well but also enjoyed their work. Something, which I
learnt from them, a day before was “It is
better to be in something than to be in nothing.”, and so I made my
subconscious brain ready for participating in the second day of the exhibition.
Second day,
for nearly an hour, I remained in the room allotted for Tata Consumer Goods,
there I made PJV (Partial Joint Venture) with Mr. N. Bansal and tried to
explain about the different collections hold by Tanishq to the parents but as I
was unable to explain them properly, so I took my step back from this business
and left the room of consumer goods.
After an
hour, since the exhibition had started, I made a visit to Tata Vistara Airlines
with a proposal of LMJV (Last-Moment Joint Venture) for explaining about RADA
to the visitors of Tata Vistara Airlines as I was interested about this and my
proposal got selected and I became a member of that room for a short and last
period of time.
I really
enjoyed my 100% work as finally I got the opportunity to explain something
which I should be explaining to the visitors instead of just having no work to
do. It was good experience with everyone and I often felt satisfaction when I
see people who were taking interest in knowing more about it in detail.
If I would
not myself, I am even now able to write pages and pages discussing particularly
about the positivity of “TechnoArt Vistara”. I hope, you all also had learnt
many thing from the exhibition which happened even if you had not made the
visit, you can visit their virtually, as you now had read this article.
