Industrial Visit to Power Grid Corporation of India (400/220kV Station) By: Utkarsh Hello everyone, today I will be sharing my experience as Industrial visit to PGCIL, Kursi road, Barabanki, Lucknow. Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) or PGCIL is schedule ‘A’, ‘Maharatna’ Public Sector Enterprise of Govt. of India which was incorporated on October 23, 1989 under the company act of 1956. I along with thirty others combined from first, second and third year of different branches who are volunteers in Tech Fusion Club at Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University, Barabanki, Lucknow visited there along with our favourite mentor Er. Abhishek Kumar Saxena sir, Assistant Professor, Department of Electrical Communication Engineering. Though we were give home-work of finding and exploring what are PSUs, Navaratna and Maharatna companies but I guess no one showed interest in exploring about it seriously and thus many were blank when these things were being discussed by the c
